Applications for Fall 2010 Planting:

Due by March 1st!

Over 50 volunteers came out to our Fall 2009 planting! They planted 50 trees on Saturday, November 21, all in about three hours. Team work and hard effort were evident for this tree planting. Volunteers of all ages came out to show support to their community while cheering on a greener Philadelphia. On behalf of the Northeast Tree Tenders team, we would like to thank each and every one of our volunteers who came out to support the effort of beautifying the streets of Northeast Philadelphia.  We are humbled and proud by our efforts. Great job everyone, we did it! We are looking forward to our next planting in the spring of 2010. Check back for exact dates. Pictures from our Fall 09 planting.

We are looking for homeowners in the Northeast who would like to request a street or yard tree for their home. The trees, and concrete cuts are free - your tax dollars at work! We just ask for a small $15 donation towards our expenses. The trees will be about 6-11 feet tall when they arrive and will planted by Northeast Tree Tenders and volunteers.
